Glidecam "Blue" Dovetail Plate & Arri SR3

I hope someone can help me out with this. I just finished testing out a SR3 on my Gold rig with Glidecam's blue dovetail plate ... and the holes on the plate didn't match the bottom of the camera, or the camera's bridge plate. I could only attach one screw and tried using some camera tape to keep it from twisting. What was I doing wrong? Is there a more simple way to attach the dovetail to the camera?

I've got pictures of the setup, so if anyone can help I'd be grateful.

Hi Dave

This is normal with these cameras - I used to use carpet tape or strong double sided on either side of the screw to stop it 'dutching' on you.

Thanks Howard, I appreciate the quick response. I guess I'll have to live with it until I find a better solution. (Personally, I hate "MacGyver'ing" anything with tape, wire, etc etc.)
