Hi.
I've been a videographer for a few years now, and now work is starting to pick up, so I thought I would look into adding Steadicam operation to my repertoire.
The information I've found in this forum has helped me to decide to make the plunge, so thanks to all of you.
I may be involved in a documentary this summer, a long one, and it may be a useful time for me to practice flying a rig and getting comfortable. I'm in very good shape (marathoner), but I know that being in good shape doesn't mean you're in Steadicam-shape. :)
Anyway, I'll be researching which rig to dump money into, so any advice would be appreciated. (I have a new Panasonic HVX-200.) It'll probably have to be under $10K.
Also, if anyone knows of a workshop or class near L.A. in the next few weeks, that would be great.
