Did a shoot today for a friend, was following a falconer whilst he talked about his work, this was one shot, my main one, just following as he talks about the birds, then following into his house .... walking backwards was a pain as there was a step half way, I tried my best to hold all of the shot level, but some is off, just want to know what everyone thinks - would this pass for broadcastable?
Cheers

Hi
Great stuff!
just two points I'd like to mention watch your horizon when tilting down. They are a twat I know, especialy if the rig isn't square on to you as trying to think about which way to tilt etc is hard. I also would have boomed down when he bent down instead of the tilt or maybe a combo, just so the tilt didn't look as extreme! The provid has an great stay where you put it iso arm it's a shame to waste it's potential!!!!
That said the end result you came out with was very nice!
I shouldn't really be picking at your stuff as your still far more advanced than me at steadicam work. It's just how i would have tried to do the shot!

Thanks bud, I did the shot a few times, that was the last attempt and the best out of all of them, the horizon was really hard to keep level while tilting like you mentioned, but I thought because it's got no horizon to use a reference it didn't matter too much ... but it was good fun all the same.
Cheers!

Hi Jase
Nice piece. You could have asked the guy to have the brids on higher purches to save the him bending down? What did you do for the sound?
