PASCAL:
I, once again, took the sled apart, and removed the base plate. Instead of the base plate I mounted the two Manfrotto sliding plates, so I now have the adjustable stage at the bottom of the sled. Tomorrow I will build myself a nice little cage for the batteries, and a bracket for the monitor. The battery cage will be mounted to the Manfrotto plates, and the monitor will go higher up for better viewing when I have the post fully extended. On top of the post I mounted the battery Manfrotto plate (or the plate where the battery should be mounted on if you'd follow the setup schematics) and this will serve as the new camera stage. this way the stage will be a lot more solid, less chance of vibration ruining your footage! Well that's my big plan for tomorrow
