This is a music video I shot in april. This a pretty big band in Germany (where they're from) ENJOY!
(ps. Do I get in trouble if I upload a 11,9 Mb video? I need to upload this somewhere, and all the @#%$& free hosting sites don't allow uploads bigger than 1 Mb... yes this is called begging :o )

LOL it's ok, no need to beg, I've set the max upload to 10mb though, there any chance you could compress it to that sort of size?

Hi Jason,
Well, I compressed it a little more (a lot more pixellation unfortunately) and tried to upload it, but the site doesn't want to accept my video :( It's about the same size and same format (wmv) as the other I succefully uploaded. hmm...

Right, I've altered the uploads to around 15mb, try once more and let me know with the 12mb version.
I have another idea if this doesn't work.

Hi Pascal
Good video and I like the music too! You seem to have gotten lucky with contacts in your homeland if you keep going through shoots like this you'll be able to afford a full Steadicam system soon! That is if your getting paid a good enough amount!

Hi Ant,
Thanks for the kind words! sad thing is: Most of my 'steadicam' work is done for the same company. And it's all low-budget and not so very mainstream music, so no upgrades for me yet :( However I've been keeping my eye out for a nice bargain on a used high end system... so who knows right :)
Cheers Pascal

That's an awesome video, nice slick moves Pascal. I'm hoping to do something like that soon, the one I did was on a stage so had to have the rig pointing up, wasn't too bad, but didn't have overly much room to move and get close to the bands, but nontheless was fun!
Any joy with uploading the other clip?

Hi Jason,
Yeah, headroom, still giving me nightmares... on several occasions you can see the frame just tilting up... Thing was: I had less than 1 meter clearence between the singer and the edge of the stage. In front of the band they had placed a row of lights and I had to turn myself around when I did a pass in front of the singer to counter the effect of the gimbal. So instead of doing a switch while passing the singer I completely turned myself around... I was very lucky that I didn't just fell of the 2 meter high stage... in a sence it was plain recklessness (sp?)
Anyway, thanks Jason. For the positive feedback and the effort in helping me with that 2nd video... I believe there's something wrong with my PC in accepting cookies... I had to log on 3 times before I could post anyting... I have a google toolbar, is that thing giving me problems? It's just weird the other video could be uploaded with no problems.. hmm
