Again a tip from Howard Smith (bless the guy):
Doing a whip pan, in other words, a fast pan motion (used to cut to new roll of film without actualy seeing a cut or to new setting without seeing the cut, or just because it looks cool)
First: frame your shot. Then move to the next shot only moving you upper body. This way, if you move from one shot to another you'll keep the same frame! Note: do not use your arms or pan to frame the shots: you will not be able to do this properly this way!
