Hi Guys

I thought I would post this -
This was shot a few weeks ago by one of my customers John Clarke (originally it was Thomas English's Shoot but he had to shoot off).
Hats off to John for a lovely shot and stepping up at the 11th hour.

It was shot in London and is a 1 shot pop promo, shot with the MK-V AR, there are lots of High to low mode transitions and also an impressive use of the Gimbal control prototype at the end.

Here are some links
You can download the promo from this link (much better picture quality 46meg)

In case you just want to see it is here

Hi Howard,

Is this use of Gimbal control prototype the reason why we see a 360 at the end of the clip in the horizon of the picture ? I thought with use of the AR the image will always maintain horizontal in low and high mode... or did i miss something ?

Best, Erik

Hi Erik

Thank you for your post.
Yes the gimbal control allows you to roll on top of stabilization.
(Please see www.mk-v-ar.com and the V2 demo film.)
There was a 360 + 90 deg roll and then back 90 to the original level.
I thought they did this very well.

There are lots of things you can do with the AR apart from just high to low mode.

I hope this helps
All the best
Howard

I'd Love to have just the rolling cage on a normal rig.
Do you think it would be costly to have just the manual roll with no auto horison ?
Cheers
