Came in today by Fedex !
After long days of thinking and searching for information on the internet, asking questions here, getting a loan from my bank, and negociating with the basson people, eventually, i am the owner of a BSN800 system and can now speak here with something real to talk about ! :)

My system is a new model BSN800 with the low mode bracket, and a lilliput 16/9 7.2 tft monitor.

The first questions I'm going to ask you all are :
In what do you carry your systems ?
Bags?
Hard cases?
Where did you get them?
Did you find cheap batteries on the internet?

I'll let you know about my experiments with the system as soon as I can put a camera on it (mine is way to light).
;-)

Fred:) :)

I had someone build me a brass adapting plate, so I can even use my small 700g camera on it! :-) But just for practising. For shooting I just use a pro camera!

I guess you already have the new yoke(?) (connector between arm and post!)

Can you balance the whole damn thing right or is there just the same problem, that it ain't built properly like I mentioned here:

Well, I couldn't see the picture about the "yoke" so I don't know if I have the new one or not. But I didn't have any balance problem I can remember. I started customizing the rig already, by changing the 12V alim connectors to regular XLR4 connectors, and I'm adding a JBox too, I'm fed up with the cables dangling from the post. I'm going to add a few switches too (monitor on/off, peripherals on/off etc...)
